Amphibians ~ Tree Frogs ~ Twin-Spotted Tree Frog

The Reinwardt's flying frog (Rhacophorus bipunctatus) is a medium-sized beautiful flying frog species marked by attractive bright green colouration across the body. In contrast, the underbellies, bottom of their limbs and webs on the feet are a riot of blue speckles intermingling with white and orange spots, especially towards the rear end and below the chin.

The tips of the toes are yellow, and the skin across their back and limbs is smooth in texture, almost plastic-like. Reinwardt's flying frog specimens from Java remarkably different underbelly colouration while the Malaysian form is known as the 'tar' phase.
