Twin Spotted Flying Frog

Rhacophorus bipunctatus

The twin spotted flying frog is named after a pair of bluish patches at each side of the body, near the belly. A small species, this attractive frog changes its dorsal colour from bluish white to creamy brown when stressed. It has tiny dark spots across its head, limbs and back. They are found at highland elevations, including secondary forests and disturbed areas, often perched on plants and shrubs near stagnant or muddy water. The webs are yellow along the front digits, while the hind legs have reddish webs. The flanks, upper arm and belly is yellowish. This species ranges from India to Laos and Thailand to Malaysia in Southeast Asia.
