Smooth Skinned Mossy Frog

Theloderma licin

Described recently, this is the only smooth-backed mossy frog species in Malaysia. It can vary its dorsal colouration from cream to dark brown. The legs are tinged with tiny white tubercles. The irises are brownish while the belly is marbled with black and grey. This small frog is quite common across Peninsular Malaysia, occuring in lowland to hilly rainforest, but little is known about its ecology. In Southeast Asia, this species occurs in Southern Thailand and Peninsular Malaysia.
