I found and killed a baby snake this morning. It was about 8 inches long. It would be great if you can help me identify the snake, and it's age.
Leong from Subang Jaya, Selangor
Snake identified as Lycodon capucinus, or common wolf snake. It was also explained to Leong on how to co-exist with snakes without kiling them. |

This evening we came across a beautifully marked python in my back yard in Tawau, Sabah. I took a few photos of it before it went its merry way into the bushes behind of my house. From our estimates, its about 1.5m long. My wife and I are very curious to know what kind of python it is.
Peter from Tawau, Sabah
Snake identified as Python breitensteini, or Borneo short-tailed python. |

The Pictures from the unknown snake I made in Taman-Negara Malaysia. Could you please tell me, what kind of snake it is and give me some information about it.
Florian from Germany
Although blur, the snake is clearly the melanistic phase of Boiga cynodon, or dog-toothed cat snake.

Are you able to confirm that this is a Paradise Tree Snake? My problem is the size that was 2 metres or over. Photographed at Bako National Park, near Kuching.
Don from Europe
Snake confirmed as Chrysopelea paradisi, or paradise tree snake. Unless it was measured properly, it would be hard to confirm such a long length.
