Robinson's Flying Frog

Rhacophorus robinsoni

The Robinson's flying frog is a rare species of mid-level rainforest. Its colour is dark brown but this can change to a creamish complexion under bright weather. The head has irregular stripes with a few splotches scattered across the back. It occupies lowland to mid-level rainforest. The belly is yellowish with small spotted markings akin to scales. It feeds on insects such as crickets in the wild, where it practises a nocturnal lifestyle. It is also one of the more active flying frog species. The call from this frog is a single note like a clicking chirp. In Southeast Asia, it is limited to Thailand and Peninsular Malaysia.
