The Reinwardt's flying frog is smooth green in appearance, with beautiful bluish webs between each digit. The underside, including belly and limbs continues this pattern of blue speckles, while intermingling with white, orange and yellow spots, especially towards the vent and chin. This beautiful frog occurs in Peninsular Malaysia and Sumatra, but another colour form of this species exist in Java, Borneo, Vietnam and Laos. It is known from lowland rainforest, with a habitat preference for towering bamboo clumps. The ecological cycle is similar to the Wallace's Flying Frog, while its call is a quick succession of gurgling notes.
