Bagan Lalang : An Unexpected Discovery - Read More!
Not many are aware that hidden away in Sepang is a beautiful beach called Bagan Lalang. Sepang was once a vast area of mangrove swamps and peat forest, but it was cleared to accommodate the building of several mega projects, including a racing circuit and the Kuala Lumpur International Airport. Consequently, the coastal areas have beaches and waters that are polluted beyond salvation around Sepang stretching all the way to Port Klang. Hence, it came as a pleasant surprise to find this picturesque beach hidden behind some oil palm plantations. |
