Some time ago, we brought a good friend from Germany to explore the forests of Peninsular Malaysia in the north. The trip took us to an island off the east coast, various rural areas and the inner reaches of Ulu Muda, which is Kedah's last great piece of wilderness. While herping, we did not obtain anything excitingly new or fantastic, but we did come away with a greater appreaciation and undertanding of Malaysia's northern heritage in terms of its wildlife and landscapes. |
