Marbled Gecko

Cyrtodactylus quadrivirgatus

The marbled slender-toed gecko, or Cyrtodactylus quadrivirgatus, is a common gecko species found in lowland to upper-level rainforest elevations across Southeast Asia in Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Borneo and Indonesia (Sumatra). A small lizard, its body leans towards dark black or brown with an intricate banded pattern on its dorsal area. A striped form also occurs, but it is more common in Borneo.
