Southeast Asia has a collection of some of the world's most fascinating insects, spanning phasmids, butterflies, bettles, moths and other bugs. Insects are essential a class of invertebrate creatures with a chitinous exoskeleton, three-sectioned body (head, thorax, and abdomen), three pairs of jointed legs, compound eyes and two antennae. In the jungels of Southeast Asia, visitors can discover peculiar insects that mimic leaves, flowers, fungi along with those with vibrant colours and patterns. Also included in this section are interesting invertebrates including arachnids (spiders, scorpions) and myriapods (centipedes, milipedes).
