The house wolf snake is a small but common species that can be found at home in the residential garden as much as its lowland rainforest habitat. This snake is one of the most frequently encountered in urban dwellings near pockets of secondary forest or bushes. The house wolf snake is brown in colour with faded and scruffy-looking yellowish bands along with a yellowish nuchal collar. The labials are whitish while the ventrals are white. This snake feeds primarily on geckos and can be found in most of Southeast Asia.
