Malaysian Frog Species

Malaysia has a wealth of herpefauna, of which amphibians are probably the most numerous in terms of species count. Combining both the Peninsular and Borneo will yield hundreds of frog and toad species, with new ones being discovered and named each year. While the more well-known frogs come from the Rhacophorus and Rana genus, others provide an equally diverse and colourful range which are listed and discussed here, including those that are not covered in any of the previous sections.
