The paddy field frog is a small and common amphibian which occurs in lowland and secondary forest while also being common in agricultural areas such as paddy fields. This frog has a stout body and triangular snout along with long hind legs. The colour is a drab brown with mottled patterns across the top, legs and face. This common frog can be found all the way from India and Sri Lanka, to Thailand, West Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia in Southeast Asia.
