The small to medium-sized common tree frog (Polypedates leucomystax) is found throughout Southeast Asia in all levels of rainforest and even in urban habitats, such as recreational parks and house drains in the cities. Also called the four-lined tree frog, the dorsum has a series of four thin stripes which may or not be present in some individuals.

This medium-sized frog may occur in a variety of colours including grey, brown, orange and yellow. It is a very adaptable species, proven by its ubiquity in both modern and natural habitats.
