Common Tree Frog

Polypedates leucomystax

The common tree frog is found throughout Southeast Asia at all levels of rainforest and disturbed habitats, including urban centers. The base colour is highly variable, including orange, yellow, grey and brown. The dorsum may be patternless, spotted or with four thin stripes. It can easily be distinguished from flying frogs by its lack of webbing on the front limbs. It is a very adaptable species, proven by its ubiquity in the wild or civilisation. The common tree frog is easy to find across Malaysia, Singapore, Borneo and Java all the way up to Southern China and Eastern India.
