This beautiful tree frog is surprising common, occuring in lowland to upper-level rainforest. The adult cinnamon tree frog is reddish orange to chestnut brown, the dorsum and limbs covered with rich speckles of white spots. The belly is pale and slightly translucent, with a small patch of larger white spots. The upper portion of their irises are whitish yellow. Widely distributed across Southeast Asia in Peninsular Malaysia, Singapore, Borneo and Indonesia, this frog is a tree-hole breeder. They can be found on shrubs of low heights, especially those located near streams. The call is a series of soft chirps, made during the night when it is active.
